More than 50 years old, Allegro provides tremendous support for the programs of the FIM. Volunteers help with mailings, provide food for FSO musicians at Friday evening rehearsals, organize receptions for FSPA performances and provide hospitality baskets for guest artists. They also conduct fundraisers to benefit the FSPA and FSO. Allegro has special events for their members including card parties, luncheons and dinners. Their premiere event is the Pink Geranium Luncheon and Style Show held each May.
