Members of the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia can audition in September for one of the most visible of the FSPA ensembles, the Dort Honors String Quartet. The Dort Quartet gives a number of high profile performances each year, including the Buick Open Pairs Party and Flint Mayor’s Ball. Dort Quartet members also receive scholarships for quartet coaching sessions and private lessons, and they perform a full recital each year.
