Young Musicians Class (ages 3-10)
Does your child show an interest in music? Would you like help selecting an instrument that may be just right for your child? Then Young Musicians is the perfect place to start! In this high-energy weekly class, students will learn about rhythm, note reading, musical terms and listening skills in an age-appropriate way–taught by a professional musician. Over the course of a year, members of our highly-trained faculty will demonstrate instruments from the wind, brass, string and percussion families. Your child will get to try many of these instruments and may find the one that’s perfect!
Percussion Classes (ages 4-9)
These innovative group classes for beginners incorporate basic snare and rhythm techniques. They include a fun, yet thorough, exploration of over 100 percussion instruments.
Piano Classes (ages 6-adult)
Play the piano at almost any age! Learn the basics using a variety of music in our state-of-the-art piano lab. Parents, come on along and participate with your children!
String Classes (ages 5-12)
This dynamic group class for beginning and intermediate students builds a great musical foundation by incorporating both Suzuki and traditional techniques. After just one year, you’ll have the opportunity to continue by enrolling in private lessons and playing in the Intermezzo Strings Class. You’ll learn a variety of music including classical, fiddling and more.
Voice Classes (ages 4-12)
For young singers, this class offers it all. Learn to sing with others your age and receive individual attention as well. You’ll learn healthy vocal production, breathing technique and basic music theory. You’ll even have a chance to help select the music!

Write as many songs in as many styles as you can in this eight-week, action-packed class that includes blues, rock, pop, rap and more in our state-of-the-art computer music lab. You also get to take a CD of your original compositions with you!
Music Theory (College Prep)
Are you planning a career in music? Have you always wanted to understand the hows and whys of music? If so, this class is a must. Learn how major composers write music and how you can write your own compositions as well.
